11th Integrate Network Annual Meeting

Together, we’ll address the topic of “Promoting Multifunctional/Integrative Forest Management Practices in Managed Forests through Policy, Science & Practice”: As such, the Annual Meeting in Ireland will present the evolution of Irish forests from plantation to more diverse and multifunctional forests and will centre on private forest owner’s experience, with particular focus on:

– Engaging private forest owners and communicating a shared vision

– Facilitating cultural transformation for new and existing forest owners: training and education support, new policy tools and creating networks for exchange

– Measure change for adaptive learning through research and management support tools

Our meeting will offer an opportunity to present the progress to date in Ireland towards integrative forest management solutions, sharing lessons learned and reflect on future challenges and opportunities with relevance to the rest of Europe.
